For the last few days, I've listened to "Real Love" while getting ready in the morning. Initially, I got the M. Doughty version in my head, but I have to say -- Mary J. has got it going on in ways that he doesn't even scratch the surface.

They're very different - it's true. And for me - I think it gets down to the fact that I find female vocalists more dynamic than male.

Not to speak ill of my friend M. - but yah - MJB's version is much more. Real.
