New community!

After some deliberation, schpahky and I decided to commit to writing 50,000 words of non-fiction in the month of November, a la National Novel Writing Month. The community name where we'll be gathering is stranger_than. Please, come join us!

Come on... you know you've got some personal essays in you... And, unlike NaNoWriMo, you don't have to cloak them in vaguely fictional characters. Use real names! Real places! Write things that would get you slapped with a libel suit if they were published! No one has to see it but you.

I'm planning on doing fiction, but I'd be a good cheerleader, and I figure one never knows what might happen on Nov. 1st--non-fiction might sound purty sweet right about then. Would it be all right if I joined too?
