L.L. Bean Boots

sun_set_bravelyI'm wearing my new L.L. Bean Boots for the first time today. These are the ones I got in return for my old boots whose soles wore out last spring. I got a small upgrade to these for only $20 plus shipping. $30 for a pair of new boots? Not bad.
I like them a lot. I feel sexy when I wear them, they've got these hot buckles on the side, and they're not too heavy. Usually, when the fall transition from sandals to closed toe shoes and boots comes around, my movement energy level drops because my feet are suddenly weighed down so much more. But these shoes have a nice spring to them, so I still feel the summer jump in my step.
