Good morning everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving. I'm up at 4:13 in the morning with two and a half hours of sleep, getting ready to fly home to see my family.

I'm at 49,416 words, and I look forward to writing the last chapter on the plane in that moment when the plane's wheels let go of the runway, and we are in the air, flying.

I hope that everyone has a great day, and a wonderful first few days of Hanukkah as well (I won't be posting from home, most likely). Celebrate, reflect, enjoy, and go easy on the food.

I hope you had a good thanksgiving, and had at least a moment of silence in atonement for the memory of the decimation of the Native Americans and thievery of their land. I did, then had tons of turkey. Its hard to balance morality and the opportunity for a good ol' meal….

Thank you, my friend! I did indeed think a couple of times about the Native Americans and the horrible way that colonization has happened around the world throughout history. And I also wondered why the U.S. has a holiday whose main tradition is to eat good food until you want to puke. What does this say about us, I wonder?

You're moving soon, right? I think that this weekend I've volunteered to help you and your skanky roommate out. :) I will see you soon!
