Last night, I slept in an actual bed -- mattress, bedframe, sheets, pillows -- for the first time in three months.

Dear Goddess Almighty, that felt good.

Most of that time was spent on an air mattress on the floor, and then on quilts on the floor for the last three weeks. We've been technically (though not actually) homeless since August 1st, so we've been staying with friends since then as we prepped to leave NYC.
