We are sick.

This is my fourth week with this lingering sinus infection. Two weeks ago, my doctor prescribed some decongestants and an inhaler, so my body could work things out itself. But this weekend, a speedy sinus infection overtook freak1c, and I started to slip back into dizzy headache low-grade fever zone. So we returned to the doctor and she finally gave us antibiotics. Yeah, they're not ideal, but damn, I am so tired of being sick. Hopefully this will knock this shit out.

Also, when I'm sick, I miss having an office job with coworkers. Sure, they don't continue work on your individual projects, but they take care of the basic functions like mail and answering the phone. Plus, you get paid even when you're sick. It's just a trade-off for this bohemian freelance life I lead, I suppose.

Cough. Hack.

I wrote the exact same thing when I was sick. That I missed having an office where I showed up and got paid even when I was sick.

Ugh, that's a long time to be sick. I have high hopes, however, that all this warmth will burn the ill away. =)
