How do we feel about Levenger's cartridges? My sweet little Monteverdes, the old standbys, have been without ink for the last six months, and I want to stock up. I was looking at Levenger's Standard 6-Pack of cartridges.

Anyone with any opinions or advice on other places to get quality cartridges for less money?

Never tried them myself, but I have coworkers who like them, and the Cobalt Blue is popular on the Fountain Pen Network.

I have pought pens from various people there, gotten into a travelling journal community, hung out with folks there.... it's a den of iniquity and fun, and a social community. I'm Velma there.

My boss gets a Levenger box in the mail at least once a week.
He's also a pen nut.

The ink is nice enough, and the price for the 6-pack is decent, so I say go for it.

Someday I will quit writing with nib pens and get a set of usable and not-terribly-expensive-to-refill fountain pens. I have a beautiful Skaagen one, but it's too damn heavy to write with for long amounts of time, and I can never find cartridges for it.
