Update on the Fuzziness
Jun. 1st, 2006 01:38 pmShort version: we got the best case scenario. The four pound mass was attached to his spleen, so they took all of that out, and will get a biopsy result next week. He also had an inflamed lymph node, so they took a biopsy of that as well.
But he made it through the surgery, and he's alive, and he's waking up now, and we can bring him home on Saturday. I'm leaving tomorrow for a dear friend's wedding in Puerto Rico, but CL will be here to bring him home.
Thank you a million times for all of your beautiful thoughts and prayers -- I have no doubt that they helped.
More updates as they happen!
Love to all of you.

Date: 2006-06-01 08:01 pm (UTC)Four pounds, though, whew. No wonder he's had trouble getting up the stairs; he's been carrying a load. Somethin' that big, I'm almost like, "fuck the biopsy, just get it away from me". Like those coffee cans I put the grease in whenever I cook beef. Put it, uhh, wherever they put the nuclear waste, it's safe there, right? Okaygottagobye.
