Doggie update

Our little orange monster has a very large mass in his abdomen, and he's going into surgery tomorrow morning at about 9:30 to remove it. It's too big for them to tell what it's attached to, but once they are able to see it, they'll know. We're hoping that it's his spleen, as they can remove the spleen and the mass in a basically curative procedure -- the growth wouldn't be able to come back because it would be all gone. There are other possibilities, but we'll focus on that one for now.

He's at home with us tonight, being spoiled rotten and coming down from his sedative high.

Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers. Keep 'em coming; we need them now.

9:30, okay. I know when and where to direct my prayers! Interesting that Mister is the second redhead I know of to possibly need a splenectomy, Joe Fox being the other. In Joe's case, it worked out great (C can tell you more), so I pray for nothing less than that success this time.
