I love plants. I have been indoor gardening on a small basis for the last five years, and most of what I know, I learned through trial and error. I would love to own an in-depth and yet still practical book about indoor gardening. Does anyone have one that they love?

Also, I love trees. I would love to learn more about their lives. I want to read an intelligent book that covers the scientific elements of tree life in semi-layman's terms. I don't mind big words. I can learn new things.

If you have any ideas for either, I'd love to know!

It's not scientific, but see if you can find Big Tree (http://wholespiritpress.com/bigtree.htm). It's a beautiful story.

When my kid sister was little, my father, with his radio voice and all, recorded this book for her. We all got copies -- I used to listen to it as a teenager while I was going to sleep.

Every time I see a cheap paperback about house plants, I buy it. They are good reads, in no particularly good shape, and fungible, and easy to ship.
If you'd like me to dig one or 2 up and send them to you, please let me know.
