What's the first image that jumps to your mind when you think of Perseverance?

I think of an athlete. One that keeps practicing and training and practicing through all the hardships until they reach that winning moment.

I had an image of some athlete beaded with sweat. For some reason I think the image that leapt to mind was Hilary Swank in "Million Dollar Baby." I never saw the movie but her picture was in the paper this morning, funny how my little mind works.
