Could it really be Part Five of my movie recommendations? I didn't really realize it, but we've watched a crap-load of movies (20 in this batch, and 102 total, to be exact) since we first subscribed to a movies-by-mail service about a year ago (first Blockbuster, now Netflix). You'd think we'd eventually run out of movies to watch, but we keep finding more.

Part One is here.
Part Two is here.
Part Three is here.
Part Four is here.

The Good, The Bleh, and The Ugly

Good = anywhere from "I'd watch it again" to "It changed my life."
Bleh = anywhere from "Wait, I've seen this movie? I already forgot about it" to "It was mildly offensive."
Ugly = anywhere from "This movie was regurgitated film formula and bored me to death" to "I didn't finish it because it was so bad."
* = highly recommended!

The Good
28 Days Later
*Spirited Away
House of Flying Daggers
*Nine to Five (I grew up watching this, and it is even funnier than I remembered!)
*War Games (BADASS!!)
Coupling: Season 3: Disc 1
*Angels in America: Discs 1 & 2
*Bringing Up Baby
*School of Rock
*Hitch
Some Like It Hot
*Juice
*Crooklyn
*And the Band Played On (this blew my mind and is still with me. I'd wanted to see it since it came out when I was in high school, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be.)

The Bleh
Angel: Season 5: Disc 1 (I miss Cordelia!)
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Eddie Izzard: Definite Article
Kissing Jessica Stein

The Ugly
The Stepford Wives (2004) (Good gracious, this was terrible. Boring, pointless, and misguided.)
The Virgin Suicides (Though it was amazing to see how much truth-telling in movies matters, as "Lost in Translation" seemed so much more honest than this film.)
