While waiting for info to finish up on the newsletter, I'll fill out this meme, which I found via [livejournal.com profile] emmabovary

1. Your LiveJournal user name and what it means:
SunSetBravely - it's a Patty Larkin reference.

2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are?
Probably about a 6 or 7. My LJ has evolved into more of a gesture drawing of who I am, instead of a fully-fleshed out portrait.

3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?
About 50%, mostly because of time constraints.

4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?
My address, social security number, and credit card information.

5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
Not really sure. Because it's gotten kind of abstract, maybe about 5 or 6.

6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
Yes, [livejournal.com profile] heidilouwho, after many years of peer pressure.

7. What proportion of your posts are friends only?
Maybe one out of four.

8. What are your top five favorite interests on LJ?
I can't say that I've got a top five. I'll read almost anything, if the journaller is well-written and thoughtful.

9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?
I usually post in communities when I have a question about something (like knitting or BPAL). I started a non-fiction NaNoWriMo community once, but that fizzled out because I didn't actually complete the project. I also started the [livejournal.com profile] woodhull community, but haven't publicized it or done anything with it since then. One day!

10. How often do you respond to/comment on other people's journals?
Daily, I think, but only when I really have something to say in response to their words.

11. Do you prefer to write in your journal or read other journals?
These days, I mostly read others' journals, though I love sitting down and letting a good LJ entry emerge, often to my surprise.

12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument on LJ (or did it to someone else)?
I've gotten into some great heated discussions on LJ, but never anything nasty or disrespectful.

13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
Only a serial adder that was swiftly dealt with by LJ administration.

14. Who are your four favorite LJ friend(s) and why?
Now that's just not nice. I can't play favorites like that!

15. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
If they post fairly regularly, and write about something that opens my world up in new directions.

16. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
Nope. I like to keep my reading list fairly small, and I want to make sure that I'm really interested in their journal before I add them.

17. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
If I felt I couldn't learn anything new from them, or if they were blatantly racist/sexist/generally freaky.

18. Is your "significant other" on LJ?
He's the reason I heard about LJ in the first place!

19. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
I've met several people on my friends list, and they have all been pleasant and well-represented by their journals.
