Good morning from our nation's Capitol!

sun_set_bravelyThis is the first time in a long time that I've been to DC and NOT protested something. CL has a conference today and tomorrow morning, and then tomorrow evening, we're driving to my friend's wedding in Virginia. Today, I am busting butt on a midnight deadline for the newsletter I'm editing and formatting. It is going to look HAWT, but it will take every second of today for me to finish the last four pages. Sadly, I don't get to see any of my cool DC-area LJ friends, but maybe on the next visit.
So right now, I'm sitting in tottering green chair from the 70s in a fun local coffee shop, with Motown classics blaring over the speakers. A combination mug-and-teapot sits in front of me, filled with delicious lapsang souchong. And now, I should procrastinate no longer, and begin the work.
