I'll be interested to hear what you love. I tried to read that a while ago and kind of...well, I kind of hated it. I hear it usually changes lives, though, so do tell!
See my comment above. I found myself skimming through parts because I'm so excited to see what comes next, but I know I'll want to read every word of this one. I can imagine myself reading this one out loud to you every night.
I found that book quite powerful too. My favorite bit I wrote down in my quotes notebook: "Begin; this is how to clear the polluted river. If you're scared, scared to fail, I say begin already, fail if you must, pick yourself up, start again..." I copied out a lot more of it there, but won't spoil your fun by putting in too much here!
I felt so strongly that way at the end of the introduction to Annie Dillard's An American Childhood. So much so that it's the only book that leapt to mind when you said that, out of a lifetime of books that have done that.
