Call From

A few weeks ago, we got this spiffy new cordless phone with speaking Caller ID. A little electronic voice sounds out the name of the person calling. The voice is lumpy and funny, and this has proved entertaining many times, including when my dear friend with a complicated German last name calls.

But I think the best call I get is the one when freak1c calls from work:
"Call from, Mental Health"

You should always pick up that call, people.

I never get that call. Or I get it, but I'm on the line with "All-Consuming Obsession" and can't excuse myself.

I got a beautiful little card in the mail from y'all yesterday, thank you very much! I would have known it was you guys without the address, because who else is cool enough to write me in fountain pen? ;)
