Happy engagement day, everybody

It is super-way-late, but I have to say something here, because, as I understand it, many of you were involved in the plotting and scheming behind this day, and I've just finished recording for myself everything that I can remember about this adventurous day.

This day was a big heavenly gift. I am honored. I am flabbergasted and dazzled and fizzy and exhausted. My cup runneth over. I am blissed out. It is perfect. My heart is illuminated, my soul is right and still, and my eyes are clear from so many cleansing tears. I am blessed. Blissfully, eternally, gratefully blessed.

Well, technically, we've been engaged since we came to the mutual decision last fall, and since Christmas when we talked to our families, but yesterday was a day of surprise fanfare and celebration with friends for our decision. It was a perfect blend of equal partnership and romance. I'm pleased as punch. :)

I did indeed see that! It was thrilling and frustrating all at once. Two mentions in Time Out in three weeks! Sweet! I'm so ready for that script to lift off, but I'm trying to be patient. This crazy ride is going somewhere, right??
