Shower Meme: 2005
May. 4th, 2005 09:35 amAlso, I've seen the Shower Meme going around again, and I love the idea of it making a seasonal appearance in the spring. Every year at this time, we can expect a little reflection, and more getting-to-know-each other time.
schpahky has given me some great questions, and I will answer them when I can.
But for now, I'd like to open the boards for people to get interview questions from me, because I want to see this spread. So the way it works is if anyone wants me to interview them, they should reply with a simple "interview me." Once I give you interview questions, post the answers in your journal, with a note for people to respond for their questions.
And let the love spread!

Date: 2005-05-06 07:27 pm (UTC)small texas ranch style house, 3 bedroom/2 bath.. 2 living areas.. you walk in and there's an entry way,
turn slightly and you're in the living room. it's a large room... the piano is straight ahead, old yellow couch against the wall... to the left is a hallway leading to bedrooms, to the right is a doorway leading to the dining room.
the dining room is at the center of the house, and it's where everything takes place. next to the dining room is the kitchen... which is open with a long bar and overhead cabinets. look to the left and there is the den-- two steps down. this is the other main family hang-out.
my room had a sliding door. i snuck out in high school...
my parents' room was right next to it, and we shared the hallway bathroom.
at the front of the house, next to the living room, was my grandmother's room. she had a bathroom in her room.
made a post about it here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/writingwoman/502035.html) too. it's for sale.
2. Has anyone ever saved your life?
no... but wearing my seatbelt has saved my life TWICE.
3. What part of your body do you love best?
my face. specifically my smile.
4. What's one of the most unexpected things that's happened in your life?
i'm not angry anymore! ha ha... well i've suffered depression for most of my life, and i found a REAL way to deal with it and work through it. i woudln't say it's gone forever, but it's gone *most of the time.* i have finally revealed the positive person inside of me. my potential is unfolding. i am building a new and amazing relationship with my mom. ALL of these things were unexpected!!
5. If you could have a career that's 180 degrees from your current one, what would it be?
well since i'm a technical writer, a 180-degree career would be something like acting, or otherwise being famous. tech writing is so... behind the scenes.. and acting is, well, NOT. but acting is something i've always been curious about. but not anything i would ever pursue.
honestly, if i could, i'd be an artist professionally. maybe travel around to art shows and some of my work would be in galleries... i'm not sure i'm good enough, but i don't mind at this point-- i just enjoy doing it, growing, becoming better, learning new techniques. i am a life-long learner.
