I'm back!

Hello LiveJournal! I'm back from my trip to California, and New York has burst into color and blossoms. I had a wonderful time visiting with my friend, and I got to meet up with several other SF-based friends. I didn't have jet lag going to the West Coast, but today, I'm completely out of whack, so I'm trying to adjust back to EST.

One thing that happened to me this week? I realized how much I miss spending everyday time with my dear friend, and I was reminded again and again why I love her so much.

Share one thing with me that happened in your week:

My mother went in for relatively routine surgery, but I had no way of contacting the hospital (I was not told which one it was), or my parents or my brother as they had all let their cell phones run out of juice. It also turns out that I was misinformed as to the day of the surgery. I think that everything is going well, though.

I hear that the jet lag on the way back really kicks yr ass. I'm not looking fwd to it tomorrow.

It's totally kicking my butt! I woke up at 10:30 this morning and couldn't open my eyes. It was hard to go to bed even at 2:30 last night. I guess I just need to force myself back onto EST. Yech.
