All in a day's work
Feb. 13th, 2005 07:56 pmThis afternoon, I got word from an anonymous tipster that there was some illegal activity going on in our apartment.
After some investigating, I discovered that an International Dust Ring was operating out of our apartment. No need to fear, folks. Your freedom to exercise the Five Second Rule on these floors will not be threatened.
I infiltrated the Dust Ring's camps and cleared them completely. It was a tricky business, as the criminals had set up many bases of operation in covert locations, including under the phone book and behind both computer monitors. Many paper towels and several hours were lost during this Operation, but they were given a proper send-off.
I'm proud to say that to say that Operation Nook and Cranny Freedom was successful. The threat has been neutralized.
Now that the International Dust Ring has been broken up, the apartment is safe for bare feet and breathing again. The resulting clean space will be offered to
freak1c (who is currently in a 12-hour tech for a show) as a Valentine's Day gift, as we have been living in funk and filth for quite some time, without knowing the extent of the illicit Dust cartel that was being trafficked from our home.
You can go about your business now. At ease, LJ citizens.
