Mixes for a Departing Friend

I'm recording this right now for my friend who is leaving next Monday. This is the one with whom I had Tuesday breakfasts almost every week this past year. She's also one of the Tea Girls. Yesterday was her birthday, and also our last in-person Tuesday breakfast for a while. We'll be carrying on the tradition over the phone once she reaches her destination. Amazingly, the morning was just like any other morning. We didn't talk much about her leaving; we treated it as if it's another change in our lives, but not like we're losing each other. Our relationship will stretch over any distance. It's really comforting.
