Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Dec. 6th, 2004 09:57 pmMy good heavens, I love homemade roasted pumpkin seeds. I can't eat enough of them. Tonight, we finally used the cooking pumpkin we bought upstate when we went apple picking. I made a delicious and subtle pumpkin soup, and then I roasted the seeds with salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Yeehaw, they are tasty! And CL made homemade croutons with olive oil, herbs de Provence, parmesan cheese, and pepper.
And so I float off to bed, with a full and happy tummy.
