Novel Update
Nov. 24th, 2004 02:34 pmI'll admit it: in the middle of this month, I all but gave up on my novel. I couldn't find anything interesting in it, my characters were stuck in their heads, and nothing ever happened. I stopped on the 10th at 16,664 words.
But this Monday, I started again. I have to write at least 3700 words every day in order to finish in this last week. I wrote 3700 on Monday, and yesterday, I wrote 3980. I am insane. My wrists are sore. But I am going to finish this thing.
Whoo-hoo!!

Date: 2004-11-24 07:55 pm (UTC)It's so amazing when one gets on a roll writing. When things don't, necessarily, all become clear, but you start to trust that your brain's going to get you there....
I've got all these things I want to change about my short story, but so little time this week to do it... I'm on the Mamma-train, and she doesn't stop for writers.
