Okay, I'm spending another night poking around Live Journal and finding random people. One thing I've noticed is the amount of people who list strangely obvious interests. For example, I just ran across a person who lists "orgasms" as an interest. Now, the Live Journal rule of thumb for listing interests is: You should be able to put the interest in the sentence "I like ________." Okay. Makes sense. So my question is, why would someone need to put "I Like Orgasms" in their interests? Is there actually anyone who doesn't like orgasms?

Maybe I'm assuming too much here, folks...

And I thought the most insipid interest was "livejournal". As in "I Like LiveJournal." Of course you do, nitwit. Why else would you be here? But "orgasms" pretty much takes the cake, second only to the rather obvious "sex".

Then again, remember what Garrison Keillor said. "Sex is good, but not as good as fresh sweet corn." There's some words I live by.

Yeah, I thought about Sex as an interest being redundant, but then I considered people who may have been sexually molested as a child, or raped, or etc., and I figure that "I like sex" may not be anything they're going to say soon. But Orgasms. What's not to like?

And good call on the Garrison Keillor quote. I love that man.

This is why I haven't listed 'food' as an interest, even though I do love to talk about food. People who don't like food probably don't live long.
