Funny bird

This morning, I walked up the subway stairs into the daylight, and a pigeon stood on the top step, looking thoughtfully down into the subway. I fully expected him to hop down the stairs, swipe his MetroCard, and ride the train uptown. I grinned at him as he decided to commute solo, and flew away.
