Dec. 3rd, 2003 11:17 amCainer's forecast for Virgo today --
Wednesday, 3rd December 2003:
Life's most amazing experiences tend to be subtle rather than shocking. Sounds, smells, tastes and textures may even seem deceptively ordinary at first until, on closer inspection, we recognise they are exceptional. Often it is not until we have been deprived of them for some while, and confronted with a second-rate substitute, that we start to yearn for what we once took for granted. You now have something very special in your life. Don't underestimate it.
The interpretation above is for your transit selected for today:
Saturn Trine Med.Coeli exact at 01:03
activity period from beginning of September 2003 until beginning of June 2004.
This was from yesterday, but is valid for many months. How our bodies interact with the planets is beyond my comprehension, but I can't not believe that there is a connection.
Checking your attitudes
Valid during many months: This time is usually characterized by self-confidence and assurance. You are able to see where you are going now and to obtain help in getting there. At the same time you are very concerned with knowing yourself on a deep inward level, usually to facilitate achieving your ambition.
This is a time when you try to rely primarily on yourself. You will not refuse help from others, but it is more desirable to go it alone or at least on your own. You need to prove yourself to yourself and, to a lesser extent, to others. It is also necessary to establish patterns in your life now that will lead to accomplishment later on. You must develop disciplined work habits and learn specific ways to deal with situations that arise. Here too you must rely on yourself, because you will be able to judge your effectiveness only if you know that what you are doing is entirely your own.
Most people are rather conservative in their ways of doing things at this time. You may be rather reluctant to experiment with new ways, but that is a pitfall. This should be a time for making careful and considered changes. Such changes can be made voluntarily and without much difficulty now, but later they will be forced upon you in a manner that may be quite unpleasant. Getting into a rut now will ensure the survival of inappropriate behavior patterns, which will create trouble later on.
You should specifically examine your attitudes toward authority figures, work and achievement, responsibility, change and most important, although somewhat abstract, your attitude toward reality. If you are trying to live by attitudes that you have been told to have and that are not really yours, you will feel tense and uneasy when you think about them. Normally you suppress these feelings because you consider it important to maintain your attitudes. But these are the attitudes that have to be changed, because they signify that your thinking is divided about that issue and that you cannot really put energy into making that part of you life work.

schpahky alerted me to Rob Brezsny's Free Will horoscope for this week, and I want to add it to my Post O'Wise Words.
Virgo Horoscope for week of December 4, 2003
The Chilean Congress has recently considered a bill that would mandate afternoon siestas for all workers. As a nap activist who has lobbied long and hard for everyone to get more dream time, I cheered this revolutionary proposal. Now I'm asking you, Virgo, to join me in the struggle to gain even more sleepers' rights. What specific action can you take? For starters, spend more time asleep and dreaming in the coming week than you ever have -- and don't let any workaholic, sleep-deprived cranky-head shame you for it. Your productivity will rise; I guarantee it. (P.S. The astrological moment is also ripe for you to rise up against the tyranny of Type A overachievers who think everyone should be as addicted to stress as they are.)

I assume you also read Rob Brezsny? If not, this would be an ideal week for you to start, O Virgo. It's prescient given your post of last night. He updated today.
